Traveling aimlessly through rural Asia, American alt-songwriter BRETT NEWSKI recorded "In Between Exits” in makeshift recording studios across Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong and the Philippines. Newski spent five months alone in Asia with a guitar and a laptop, capturing the liberating highs and loneliest lows of solo travel/wanderlusting. After the five months of writing and recording, he moved to Saigon, Vietnam where he would live for two more years and write the albums “Tiny Victories” and “American Folk Armageddon.”
